Democrats steal republican party ideas and rename them to claim change

With the help of supportive newspapers anything can be shown as a change. Since people don't pay that much attention until an election year the idea theft is easy to miss. So let's take a look at some of the latest ideas the democrats are floating that are really reinventions of the wheel under a new name.

In the october 17th issue of Parade in the Sunday paper supplements we have supposedly novel ideas by democrat Zbigniew Brezezinski showing the way Obama will change foreign policy in the new administration. First let us hope Z.B. does not do for Obama what he did for the disaster that was the Jimmy Carter presidency. With the domocrat apologists dominant in most history departments in both the high school and college level the democrat contributions always get a certain polish if not cover up.

The Parade feature "Our Role in the World" article is no exception to the "accepting as gospel truth" what ever a so called democrat expert proposes. The start of a questionable truism that is followed by a new solution is followed here.

Brezenzinski answers the question of what is our most pressing foreign-policy challenge (implying the negative that USA has a unique challenge never seen before and thus Bush has destroyed communication with our allies). He aswers with the USA must seriously consult with the allies and not act unilaterally. Since the USA does have ambassadors and Rice and Bush are always airplaning around the planet or headlining dignitaries visiting us that one wonders how he can make such a statement. The word "seriously" seems to be the key word and, like with Bill Clinton, its definition. With the ultr-liberal media in Europe it is easy to show opposition to Bush. So that is the guideline. If the media opposes Bush with headlines Bush is not negotiating "seriously"!

Another question presented is about the lessons of the past decade. He answers that the USA needs to stop acting like a bull in a China shop and the USA cannot be a global decider. Notice the negative use of the word "decider". It is a horrible word as opposed to the liberal soft, mushy, United Nations-like word such as "agreement". Because the USA wants people to make commitments we are "bulls in a china shop". This was a change and now he wants to change back to the old United Nations slogan of "give us your money but don't hold us accountable.

Brzezinski wants to appoint respected people of the other party to top national security posts. Does the expression "leaks of security data to the newspapers" come to mind. Remember in the first part of Bush's second term how senate subcommitee personnel spilled leaks to the media when the democrats took over Congress. By the way, does anyone see Pelosi allowing republican House members join in her special meetings? How about the democrats practicing what they preach.

Other changes by Brzezinski:
End our military involvement in Iraq. Does the name General Petraeus and troop reductions ring a bell?
Push the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. Does the isolating of Hamas in Gaza ring a bell?
Engage with China in a way that acknowleges its new global importance. Does going to the Olympics despite adamant demands by news media to boycott Olympics to protest Tibet ring a bell?

The liberals define words differently so getting back to their repudiated Jimmy Carter foreign policies and Bill Clinton and hollywood morality politics is change for them. Is this stuff we want to go back to? It really would be a change!!!!!
