McCain & Obama are squabbling over postponing their debate. The solution is logically obvious. Many democrats are asking if America can afford to send Palen to debate Putin of Russia. Here is a chance to see how she might fare. Don't postpon the debate. Send Palen to take McCain's place. It would be a perfect showtime presentation. Obama the muffin man debates Palen the pitbull with lipstick.

It is a win-win situation for everyone. We will watch Obama with his gaseous generalities try to diplomatically talk his way through verbal attacks by the hockey mom from Alaska without offending women in general. He will also have to be seen as strong and decisive with defendable specific ideas. This is obviously a good test for handling diverse people on the international stage.

Palen can, on short notice, demonstrate her ability to handle the critical questions asked by such people as reporters and worldly politicians. She can show to the world she has the ability to bite to the heart of an issue and respond in an inspirational manner that brings credit on women everywhere.

McCain can now be freed up to go to congressional negotiations and work with others for a bipartisan set of solutions. Obama is not needed for that because he will just vote 'present" anyway.

Finally the various newspaper reporters will have something to comment on based on their various agendas. People watching on TV will be entertained and later be able to compare what they think they saw with what they read in the papers the next day. It is a win-win scenario for everybody!!
