Democrats make Hilary Clinton vice-president candidate for President Biden

In a clever move to retain a chance for the presidency after Barack Obama is revealed to be ineligible to be president, democrats moved Biden to the presidential spot and Hilary Clinton as his vice presidental candidate.

With the revalation that Obama is not an eligible USA citizen to run for the presidency, the democrats had to make a move to maintain their lead in the polls. Some party stalwarts wanted to run the now eligible Bill Clinton for a third term. Although the constitution prevents a president from running for a successive third term it does not prevent the running for a third term after sitting out for two terms. Thus Bill Clinton would be a qualified candidate. He also has a lot of support in some categories of voters.

Obama at first refused to step aside but when faced with the constitutional challenges he would face to try to prove his citizenship after the birth certificate fiasco, he decided to support Hillary Clinton because she was his main challenger in the primaries. E-mail votes by convention delegates in critical states gave an okay to the democrat party partnership of Biden for president and Hillary for vice president. The negative feelings against a Hillary Clinton presidency at this time turned the tide for a compromise.

Just as a woman for the republicans galvinized the party, so also the democrats felt a woman as their vice president candidate would ease the transition from the Obama controversy. It would also lay the foundation for a strong succession of democrats in the presidency with the election of Biden in 2008.

Most polls show the democrats so far ahead they can afford to make a change without damaging their chances. But with the republicans showing the electorate would be voting for Biden and the necessity of an unknown partner the move had to be made. If left to a conservative supreme court decision on the constitutional eligibilty of Obama to serve as president the ruling would be obvious. Biden as vice president would have to move up to be president and would have to pick a successor.

A Biden candidacy by itself would be weak but is greatly strengthened with a Clinton. Bill Clinton would not accept a second position under Biden, but it would be a good launching pad for Hillary's presidental goals. It would save the democrat party from all kinds of voter fraud charges if the party had both the Alcorn group activities and an Obama faudulant candidacy to carry in the election.

The media is always talking about an October Surprise in the presidential election. Once again the democrats may be snatching defeat from the jaws of victory as they have so often done in the past. By not moving quickly on this critical qualification issue the democrats cannot possibly win enough voters to not only prevent a negative affect on the vote for president but also critical seats in congress.

It is good thing we have democrats to make a boring election come alive!!!!!
