Free medical care requires taxpayer protection with required behavior & tyranny

I am willing to help pay higher taxes to help the least able but not the DUMMY least able. Actions require accountability and sick behavior resulting in sick physical results should not be paid for by the taxpayer.

Diseases resulting from dissolute actions like continuous over eating of high calorie foods or alcohol/ drug intake do not demand my tax dollar contributions. To take my tax money to pay for the result of someone else's indulgence is theft. Criminals take money from their victims every day to do this unless they are Robin Hood, which I doubt.

For a government to forcefully STEAL taxpayer earnings to help self indulgent sickness producing actions is nothing short of turning the government into a criminal enabling organization. The government should have a new name like "Mafia.U.S.A"

Sympathy and funds should be extended to those whose genes have crippled their health. In fact genetic research funding should be part of the health safety program so that people who want health do not continue to lead crippled lives. To divert funds into lengthening lives of self destroyers is beyond rationality.

Beyond the rhetoric and hand wringing emotional do goodness are some fundamental questions that have to be faced. How long does this tax support last? Are the taxpayers to support a bed ridden person till their 150 years old? Are the medical costs, in some cases in the hundreds of thousands of dollars per year, to go on forever? When does it stop? How do you prevent costly self destructive behavior in society? Does the behavior get a free ride, and for how long? Can brain surgery therapy be used against a person's will? What is social destructive behavior that must be treated as well as the physical kind? Could some official recommend a political party or religious church activity that would need taxpayer intervention?
